Biography
2019-20: Teara had a great junior season with the Rams. She played in all 31 games for the Rams with five starts. She finished the season with 167 points and 17 steals. She also added 17 steals. Her best game of the season came against 18 points against Elizabeth City State.
2018-19: Teara returned for a terrific sophomore season. She improved her scoring to average 9.5 points per game. She also totaled 23 steals with 51 assists. Her best game of the season came against USC Aiken when she scored 33 points for the Rams.
2017-18: Teara made an immediate impact on the Rams. She stepped in to become one of the top players for the Rams. She averaged 8.0 points per game with 57 assists and 20 steals. Her best game came against Saint Augustine's when she scored a season-high 19 points. For her efforts, she earned a spot on the CIAA All-Rookie Team.
Personal: Teara joined the Rams in the fall of 2017. She is one of a talented cast of newcomers. She is a 2017 graduate of The STEM Early College at North Carolina A&T and Dudley High School. She is an Exercise Science major and she is the daughter of Samara and Walter Johnson, III.
