Biography
2011: Kristi had a strong sophomore season for the Lady Rams cross country team…She ran a personal best 20:43.0 at the 2011 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Women’s Cross Country Championships to place ninth and earn All-CIAA honors for the second time.
2010: Kristi had a strong impact in just one season with the Lady Rams…In her first season, she competed in five meets Lady Rams…She posted a 5K personal best of 21:24.8 at the 2011 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Women’s Cross Country Championship…She had her highest finish of the season at the Inaugural Wilbur Ross Invitational where she finished in eighth place with a time of 22:56…For her efforts, she was named to the 2011 All-CIAA women’s cross country team.
Personal: Kristi will return to the Lady Rams in the fall of 2011 as one of a talented group of returnees…She is 2009 graduate of Smith Academy where she was a decorated athlete…She earned a spot on the Greensboro News & Record Metro 4-A All-Conference team…She ran a 58.56 to finish 9th in the girls’ 400m dash at the 2010 North Carolina NCHSAA Outdoor State Championships (4A)…She is an Exercise Science major and the daughter of Bessie Baptiste.
