Winston-Salem State University

2020: Avion was off to another strong season for the Rams before the season was cut short. She played in all five matches and she finished the season with a 1-4 record in singles play. She was also 1-4 in doubles play. 

2019: Avion had a great sophomore season for the Rams...She had the best individual record for the Rams when she totaled a 12-4 overall record in singles play, including going 9-1 in CIAA play...She also went 8-7 in doubles play...For her efforts, she earned a spot on the 2019 CIAA All-Conference team. 

2018: Avion made an impressive start to her career with Winston-Salem State...She opened her career by compiling a 12-5 record in singles play...She was also an impressive 8-1 in CIAA play.

Personal: Avion joined the Rams in the fall of 2017...She came to Winston-Salem State after a successful high school career at Southern Guilford High School where she was named Player of the Year and she earned all-conference honors...She was also named her team's most valuable player...She was also a star in the classroom where she graduated in the top 20% of her class and earned a place in the Health Science Academy...She is an Exercise Science major and she is the daughter of Nicola and Matthew Harris.
