2014: Deja stepped in right away to become a leader for the Lady Rams tennis program…She finished season with a 6-10 overall singles record despite playing primarily as a #1 as a true freshman…She finished season with a 5-7 record in Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) play…She was 6-8 as a #1 singles player and was 0-2 as a #2 singles player…She joined fellow freshman Gabrielle Lindsay in doubles play where she totaled a 4-6 record (4-3 CIAA) at #1 doubles…She also paired with former Lady Rams senior Taylor Harris for a 2-6 doubles record (2-4 CIAA) at #1 doubles.

Personal: Deja joined the Lady Rams program in the fall of 2013 where she was one of the team’s top newcomers…She is a 2013 graduate of the School Without Walls and a native of Washington, D.C….In addition to being a top performer on the tennis court, she was also named to her high school’s Dean’s List in 2014…She is the daughter of Felicia Gray and Christopher Stewart.
