Biography
2016-17: Dominique continued her career with a solid sophomore season with the Rams…She ran a 9.69 in the women’s 60m hurdles preliminaries at the 2017 CIAA Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championship Meet…She also had an 11.19m triple jump to place third in the event at the meet…During the outdoor season, she continued to improve…She places eighth in the long jump at the Johnson C. Smith Invitational where she recorded a 4.74m jump…She placed eighth at the CIAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships when she recorded a personal best 35’1” (10.69m).
2015-16: Dominique had a solid freshman season with the Rams…She set a personal best when she jumped 34’5.5” (10.5m) in the triple jump at the Wake Forest Invitational…she also ran a 9.62 at the SPIRE Team Challenge…She was a member of the Rams’ 2016 CIAA Indoor Women’s Track & Field Championship team…She also had an impressive in the outdoor season…She set a personal best when she recorded a 1:10.69 to place 13th in the women’s 400m hurdles at the CIAA Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championship.
Personal: Dominique joined the Winston-Salem State University track & field program in the fall of 2015…She is a 2015 graduate of Jacksonville High School in Jacksonville, North Carolina where she earned both athletic and academic honors…During her career, she was named the Coastal Conference Player of the Year…She is a Therapeutic Recreation major.
