Biography
2019-20: Jurnae was off to a strong junior season before it was cut short. She opened 10.48 in the women's 60m hurdles at the Clemson Invitational before she ran a season-best 9.86 in the event at the 2020 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Women's Indoor Track & Field Championship Meet. She also totaled 2,285 points in the women's pentathlon at the meet as well.
2018-19: Jurnae had a strong start to her career at WSSU…She began with a solid indoor season…Her best performance in the 60m hurdles came in at the 2019 CIAA Indoor Track & Field Championships where she ran a 10.01 in the event…She also added a 4.2.25” jump in the high jump at the meet along with totaling 2,276 points in the pentathlon at the meet…In the outdoor season, she ran a 1:17.22 in the women’s 400m hurdles at the Aggie Invitational…She also added a 2:3631 in the women’s 800m run at the meet as well…Her best 1500m time came at the Duke Invitational where she ran a 5:47.44.
Personal: Jurnae joined the Rams in the fall of 2018...She is a 2017 graduate of Mooresville Senior High School...She is a Nursing major.
