Biography
2016-17: Mikel had a strong freshman season with the Rams as a quality jumper and sprinter…She set the tone early when she won the women’s high jump at the 2017 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championship…She recorded a 5’3.25” (1.61m) leap…She also had a strong outdoor season when she won the high jump at the 2017 CIAA Outdoor Women’s Track & Field Championships as well.
Personal: Mi’kel joined the Rams in the fall of 2016…She is a 2016 graduate of The Academy at Central in nearby High Point, N.C….She is an Exercise Science major and she is the daughter of Charrisse and Warren Franklin.
