2022-23(outdoor):
Tamia Finished her senior season with a 1st place placement in the 800 at the 2023 Morehouse Relays with a time of 2:21.95, and a 3rd place placement in the 800 at the 2023 Trojan Relays with a time of 2:20.34. She also had two new PR's one was in the 800 with a time of 2:18.32 and one in the 1500 with a time of 5:06.53 at the 2023 Aggie Classic.

2021-22: Tamia continued her outstanding play at WSSU track and field. Tamia McLean was named the CIAA Women's Track Athlete of the Week announced by the league office. Rams Capture Second Place at CIAA Indoor Track & Field Championships. In the 400m dash, Tamia McLean also qualified for the finals after finishing with a time of 59.52, respectively in the preliminaries. In the finals, Mclean came in fifth place with a time of 58.59. Tamia McLean finished in seventh and eighth in the 800m finals with times of 2:45.79. In addition, Tamia ran an adjusted time of 59.98 in the 400 meters at the JDL Flat is Fast Invitational, finishing in seventh overall in the event. McLean also ran a leg on the 4x400 meter relay team that won the event with a time of 4:11.61, finishing almost five seconds ahead of the second-place team. McLean and the WSSU 4x400 relay team also had the fastest time in the CIAA (4:01.69) dating back to last season.

2019-20: Tamia continued to establish herself as one of the top distance runners on the team before the season was unfortunately cut short. She ran a season-best 57.86 in the women's 400m dash at the Clemson Invitational. She also finished fifth in the women's 800m run at the 2020 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Women's Indoor Track & Field Championship meet with a 2:26.35. 

2018-19: Tamia had a solid first season with the Rams…She competed in multiple events for the Rams…Her best 400m time came at the CIAA Indoor Track & Field Championships…Her best 200m time came at the Wake Forest Invitational when she ran a 26.86...During the outdoor season, she ran a 2:23.07 in the women’s 800m run at the Aggie Invitational…She also saved her best 400m time for the CIAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships where she ran a 56.47 in the event preliminaries…She ran a 57.53 in the event finals to place seventh…She was also a member of the Rams’ 4x400m relay team that qualified for the 2019 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field National Championships.

Personal: Tamia joined the Rams in the fall of 2018...She comes to Winston-Salem State after a season at New Mexico Highlands University...She is a Pre-Nursing major...She is the daughter of Suzette Williams.
