2012: Avoni continued a great career with the Lady Rams…She finished the season with 242 kills to finish ranked second on the team…She was also a key player on defense with 302 digs to rank second on the team…She added 31 total blocks (one solo) as well…She recorded five double-double efforts for the team last season, including scoring 13 kills and 10 digs in a home match against Fayetteville State…She also recorded 15 kills and 15 digs against Chowan at the 2012 CIAA Volleyball Championship Tournament…For her efforts, she earned second team All-CIAA honors. 

2011: Avoni had a great first season with the Lady Rams…She finished ranked second on the team with 186 total kills for the season…She also added seven assists…She recorded 15 service aces…She also added 120 digs, the third highest total on the team…Her best effort of the season came against Saint Andrews Presbyterian where she recorded a career-high 21 kills with just five attack errors…She also recorded a career-high 4.0 total blocks against Fayetteville State in a key match last season.

Personal: Avoni will join the Lady Rams in the fall of 2011 and is one of many talented newcomers looking to make an impact on the team…She is a 2009 graduate of Saint Augustine’s College High School in Nassau, Bahamas…She is a Biology major and the daughter of William Seymour and Sylvia Novella.
