2017: Christa came back for a great junior season...She was a part of a team that won a Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Championship for the second time in her career...She played in 28 of the team's 30 matches...She also finished ranked second on the team with 87 total blocks (22 solo)...She also added 171 kills...She also had 22 service aces with 31 digs...For her efforts, she earned a second team selection for the 2017 All-CIAA team. 

2016: Christa had another great season for the Rams…She played in 28 matches last season and finished the season with a team-high 100 total blocks (10 solo)…She also added 132 kills along with 26 digs…She led the CIAA in total blocks and block assists. 

2015: Christa had a great freshman season with the Rams...She made an immediate impact with the team where she finished the season ranked fifth in the CIAA with 69 total blocks (nine solo)...She also added 59 kills with four assists...She recorded 11 digs...Her best offensive match of the season came with eight kills against Virginia State in the semifinal round of the 2015 CIAA Volleyball Championship Tournament.

Personal: Christa will join the WSSU volleyball program as its only true freshman…She will be one of many strong newcomers to the program…She is a 2015 graduate of Harvest Prep Academy in Columbus, Ohio where she won several honors…She was the 2014 Mid-Ohio Christian Athletic League Player of the League…She also earned first team All-MOCAL honors and a spot on the all-district second team…In 2013, she earned first team honors and also earned first team all district honors…She was a two-time team captain and was the team MVP, coaches award winner, and team captain twice…She also earned the 2012 Sportsmanship Award…Her achievements also extended into the classroom as well as she was named to the Principals High School Honor Roll all four years…She is a Marketing major and the daughter of Christian and Eileen Brown…Her sister, Ileen is currently a junior at Kentucky State.
