2011: Francesca had a great first season with the Lady Rams’ program…She led the Lady Rams with 199 total kills…She also added 39 service aces as well…She was also a solid defensive player with 48 total blocks (eight solo)…Her best single match of the season came at Claflin where she recorded 14 total kills with 4.0 total blocks (none solo)…For her efforts, she was named as a member of the 2011 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) All-Conference team.

Personal: Francesa will join the Lady Rams this fall where she will be one of many talented newcomers looking to make in immediate impact on the team…She will join the Lady Rams after a pair of seasons at Catawba Valley Community College…She was named the 2010 Region X Volleyball Player of the Year and was named the team’s MVP in both seasons…She is a 2009 graduate of East Rutherford High School in Bostic, North Carolina…She was named the team MVP both as a junior and as a senior in high school…She is a Nursing major and the daughter of Cornelius Edgerton and Belinda Bates.
