2016: Really stepped up her offensive efforts for a breakout in 2016…She finished the season with a team-high 246 kills to rank sixth in the Central Intercollegeiate Athletic Association (CIAA)…She also ranked second on the team with 359 assists to rank 11th in the CIAA as well…She led the team with 50 service aces to rank second in the conference in that category…For her efforts, she earned second team All-CIAA honors for the first time during her career.
2015: Jasmine followed up a great freshman season with a great sophomore season where she became arguably the best overall player on the team...She finished the season with 438 assists to rank sixth in the CIAA...She also ranked second in the conference with 56 service aces, just two behind fellow teammate Roselyn Mitchell...She also recorded 100 kills as well...Defensively, she added 160 digs with 35 total blocks (seven solo)...She finished the season with a team-best six double-double performances...Her best one being a 30-assist, 10 dig effort against Shepherd...Her best offensive performance of the season came at Fayetteville State when she recorded 10 kills, but she also recorded a career-high 33 assists at Livingstone.
2014: Jasmine had a great freshman season…After beginning the season as a setter, she moved into the outside hitter position to give the team some much needed offensive firepower…She played in 27 of the team’s 30 matches, including 89 sets…She finished the season with 218 total kills, the third most on the team…She also added 40 assists…Defensively, she was equally impressive with 169 digs and 30 total blocks (one solo)…For her efforts, she was named to the 2014 All-CIAA second team and to the 2014 CIAA All-Rookie team.
Personal: Jasmine joined the Lady Rams in the fall of 2014 where she is one of many talented newcomers to the team…She is a 2014 graduate of Jeffersontown High School in Louisville, Kentucky…During her high school career, she earned several honors, including being named the 1st Spike Tournament MVP, the Regional MVP, and being named to the All-Tournament team…She was also the recipient of the Ray Adams Scholarship…She is a Rehabilitation Services major and the daughter of Lisa and Gary Smith.
