2013: Kayla stepped up to become a premier player for the Lady Rams during her junior season…In addition to being a leader and a steadily impressive performer, she also was also one of the most reliable players on the team as she was one of three players to play in all 108 sets and all 30 matches last season…She finished the season with 643 assists to lead the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA)…She also led the CIAA with 62 total service aces…For her efforts, she earned first team All-CIAA honors for the second straight year. 

2012: Stepped into the starting role and did a great job for the Lady Rams…She broke out to lead the team with 800 assists and even added 31 total blocks (five solo)…She added 165 digs as well…She recorded a pair of double-doubles with 29 assists and 10 digs at Fayetteville State along with 39 assists and 11 digs against Elizabeth City State…For her efforts, she earned first team All-CIAA honors.

2011: Kayla had a solid freshman season for the Lady Rams…She split time between playing the Libero position and the setter position…She finished the season ranked second on the team with 162 digs…She also finished second on the team with 61 assists…She led the Lady Rams with 42 service aces as well.

Personal: Kayla will join the Lady Rams in the fall of 2011 where she is one of many talented newcomers to the team…She is 2011 graduate of Pleasant Grove High School in Elk Grove, California…She was a gifted athlete…She earned the Renaissance Award four times for her efforts…She is a Physical Therapy major and the daughter of Terrence and Marvetta Brass.
