Dylan Anderson joined the WSSU women’s basketball staff in the summer of 2025.
 Coach Terry Quote: “Dylan Anderson isa graduate of WSSU, was most recently a member of the men's staff at UNC-Pembroke that won 4 straight conference championships and experienced NCAA post-season play 4 years in a row as well. He was a versatile staff member who was pivotal to the team's skill development, academic success, and growth of the players off the court. He is a proven champion that will bring that mentality to our team.”
Prior to WSSU, Anderson spent four seasons as the Director of Operations/Player Development at UNC Pembroke.
He joined the Black & Gold as a graduate assistant coach during the 2021-22 season.
 
Anderson played two seasons at Johnston Community College in Smithfield before transferring to Winston-Salem State where he earned a role as head manager for the Rams who made a run to both the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) regular season and tournament championships in 2019-20. He served a facilities and equipment internship for the WSSU athletics department in 2020-21 after the CIAA announced it was suspending athletics due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
The Fayetteville native and Fayetteville Christian High School alum earned dean’s list honors and was an active member of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity on the way to earning his degree in physical education from Winston-Salem State in 2021. He earned his master’s degree in sports administration at UNCP.
