WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (10-9, 9-3 CIAA) turned up their offensive efforts to pick up their fifth straight win with a three-set home victory over the Livingstone Blue Bears (9-12, 5-7 CIAA). The Lady Rams clicked on all cylinders in the match, defeating their opponents in just over an hour. The Lady Rams controlled all three sets of the match, defeating their opponents, 25-13, 25-9, and 25-18.
The Lady Rams gave a fantastic team effort in the match with a .317 team attack percentage in the match. Through the three sets, the Lady Rams totaled just 11 attack errors while holding their opponents to just 12 total kills for the match. WSSU junior hitter Avoni Seymour led the way for the team with 11 kills and a service ace in the match. WSSU senior outside hitter Adrienne Alexander added seven kills with just one attack error in the match. Senior setter Kiara Brown added 21 assists while freshman setter Kayla Brass added a career-high 11 assists.
