Rams Take 7-2 Loss vs. North Carolina Central

WINSTON-SALEM, NC - The Winston-Salem State Rams (1-5) gave a great effort, but took their fourth straight loss when the team fell to the North Carolina Central Eagles (2-2), 7-2. The Rams gave a great effort in singles play, but could not get enough points in the tough loss.

The Rams opened the day with three straight losses in doubles competition. The #1 tandem of Brian Coxton and Ian Hunter had the best effort in doubles play with three points in the 8-3 loss. The WSSU freshman tandem of Chris Jeter and Nick Heavener scored singles wins in the match.
