CHARLOTTE, NC -- The Rams men's tennis team played lights out against the Golden Bulls of Johnson C. Smith, and defeated JCSU, 9-0 on Monday in Charlotte.

In doubles competitions, the Rams' team of Creighton Jones and Jonathan Aubrey beat Darrell Sawyer and Dion Chever, 8-3, while WSSU's Josh Aubrey and Corey Bonnette beat Kia Brewington and Yusef Barnes, 8-0 and Chris Jeter and Drew Dunzweller beat JCSU's Tobias Barnes and Shanif Axam, 8-1, to take the doubles points.

In singles play, the onslaught continued for the WSSU Rams as Josh Aubrey beat Darrell Sawyer, 8-2; Creighton Jones beat Yusef Barnes, 8-5; Jonathan Aubrey beat Dion Chever, 8-3; Corey Bonnette beat Kia Brewington, 8-1; Chris Jeter beat Tuan Nguyen, 8-2; and Drew Dunzweller beat Shani Axam, 8-3.

With the win, WSSU improves to 3-1 overall and 3-0 in CIAA action.
