WHO: Academy Sports + Outdoors, Winston-Salem State University, The Salvation Army Ken Carlson Boys & Girls Club, Central Intercollegiate Athletic Allegiance

WHAT: Academy Sports + Outdoors is teaming up with Winston-Salem State University to provide The Salvation Army Ken Carlson Boys & Girls Club with a $2,500 Academy gift card to shop for new sports equipment, games, outdoor gear and more. Prior, to the donation WSSU cheerleaders will perform.

Academy will also surprise the cheerleaders with a $2,500 donation to support their program.

Through Nov.5, Academy Sports + Outdoors is offering a 10% discount on online and in-store purchases for all students, faculty, and staff of HBCU institutions. More information can be found at academy.com/hbcudiscount.
