WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Winston-Salem State University Powerhouse of Red and White has been selected to participate in the US Army ROTC Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) High School Education Day during the Basketball tournament in Baltimore, Maryland on Wednesday, February 26 at the Baltimore Convention Center.

The event will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

About the Event
This event allows high school students to have the opportunity to learn more about the importance of furthering their education and to explore and discover the exciting programs and experiences CIAA colleges and universities have to offer. Students will hear from various speakers and sponsors during an opening program, followed by a college fair with CIAA institutions and other vendors. Each year, we select a CIAA college/university to perform as entertainment prior to the start of our event, in which we are anticipating over 2,500 students and chaperones from Baltimore City and other parts of Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia, and neighboring states.
