WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Winston-Salem State University Department of Athletics and SIDEARM Sports are proud to announce the launch of the new wssurams.com website.

The website launch is part of a partnership between the Winston-Salem State University Department of Athletics and SIDEARM Sports. The new website moves our Athletics brand into the future as we continue to "Graduate Champions" by "Protecting the Legacy" and everything that makes Rams Athletics a household brand. The change from Presto Sports to the SIDEARM sports platform refreshes the WSSU Athletics website and highlights the student-athletes while keeping visitors to the site engaged. Additionally, the new platform allows us to align with the rest of the CIAA schools for easier game file sharing.

"The final version of this new site reflects the shared vision of the Athletics team of current and former student-athletes, coaches and staff who worked for the past 12 months to bring this project to fruition. Our brand depends on recognition, consistency, visibility, excitement, relevance-this new site gives us a first-class delivery of who we are as Rams," said Etienne Thomas, Director of Athletics.

The new website features:
- Interactive scoreboard at the top of the page
- Greater accessibility to stories and easier access with the mobile site
-Archived links for the home page and team stories
- Quick links to help navigate the departments' social media pages
-Background display showing the Ram head logo
- Header bar with easier drop downs
 
"We are excited to launch the new wssurams.com website in partnership with SIDEARM," said Airis Thomas, Sports Information Director. "It has been an ongoing effort working with SIDEARM and the coaches to create a look that our students, alumni and fans would like and that would be easier to navigate and provide additional accessibility. Having a site easier to navigate and a site that showcases the student-athletes, was something I envisioned for the department. We hope the fans enjoy the new page and continue to support the Rams!"
 
SIDEARM Sports provides the technology platform that powers the official websites, mobile apps, statistical integration, live audio and video streaming, and e-commerce platforms of collegiate athletic partners across the nation.  Based in Syracuse, New York, SIDEARM Sports works with several NCAA Division I program across the country.
 
WSSURams.com serves as the official online home of the Winston-Salem State athletic department and its 11 sports as well as cheerleading.
