Volleyballs Hosts Fayetteville Thursday; Travel to West Virginia Saturday

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Winston-Salem State University volleyball team will host Fayetteville State on Thursday, September 15 inside Whitaker Gymnasium before traveling this weekend to West Virginia, Virginia to take on Salem International.

The Rams defeated Bluefield State in five sets, (24-26, 25-20, 26-24, 17-25, 15-12) inside Whitaker Gymnasium last Saturday afternoon. Zoe White led the team in kills (12), Angel Bowden had three aces, Breona Young had seven blocks, Angel Bowden had 18 assists and Jericka Brodie led in digs (14).

Scouting the Broncos
The Fayetteville State volleyball team fell to the Converse Valkyries 3-1 (24-26, 25-20, 17-25, 18-25) Saturday at Smith University Center in Florence, South Carolina at the final day of the Francis Marion Volleyball Invitational on September 10th.
Xiamana Spikes leads the team in kills (54) and blocks (26), Jaida Bynum leads in assists (146), Jordan Johnson in digs (77).

Scouting Salem
Salem fell to Virginia State, 0-3 and Bloomsburg, 0-3 in the Charleston Invitational on September 10th.
