WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Winston-Salem State University volleyball team defeated Erskine College Tuesday evening inside Whitaker Gym.
The Rams won the match 3-1 (25-23, 18-25, 25-19, 25-18) and improved to 4-8 (1-3 CIAA).
How it Happened
EC opened set one with a 7-1 scoring run. The Rams answered back with a 4-0 scoring run to trail 7-4. EC led the entire set, till the Rams used a few kills and service aces to get back into the set. Tied at 20, the Rams eventually took the set 25-23 and led the match 1-0.
EC took set two 25-18 to tie the match at 1-1. WSSU took set three, 25-19 and set four 25-18 to win the match 3-1.
