WINSTON-SALEM N.C- The Winston-Salem State University volleyball team swept Johnson C. Smith 3-0 (25-12, 25-20, 25-11) Monday night inside Whitaker Gymnasium.
 
The Rams improved to (12-16, 8-6 CIAA).
 
How it Happened
In set one, the Rams used two 6-0 runs to dominate the set and taking it, 25-12. Set two the Golden Bulls found a spark as they went point for point with the Rams, the momentum quickly shifted to the Rams using another 6-0 run helping them win the set, 25-20. Set three the Rams jumped out to a 6-1 lead and that was enough to take the set 25-11.
