WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Winston-Salem State University football team fell to Livingstone College, 23-21 inside Bowman Gray Stadium.
The Rams moved to 2-4 (2-2 CIAA), while Livingstone improved to 2-4 (2-2 CIAA).
How it Happened
- The Blue Bears took an early 7-0 lead in the first quarter. They then added a field goal to increase their lead to 10-0. LC scored once more in the second quarter to take a 17-0 lead.
- Gabriel Linen had a 52-yard run to give the Rams their first touchdown in the second quarter. Then, RJ Mobley had a 1-yard run to bring the Rams within three, 17-14.
- The Rams took the lead in the fourth quarter after another touchdown pass from RJ Mobley.
- LC scored six more points to win the game.
