WINSTON-SALEM, N.C- The Winston-Salem State University women's basketball team will travel to Sumter, South Carolina on Tuesday, November 28th to play against Morris College. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. inside Morris Gymnasium.

This will be the third meeting between the Rams and Yellow Jackets. Last year the Rams defeated the Yellow Jackets 109-31.

CIAA Preseason:
Amaya Tucker and
Kennedi Simmons were named to the 2022-2023 All-CIAA Women's Basketball Preseason Team Backcourt. Tucker is returning as the reigning CIAA Player of the Year. She finished last season averaging 15.6 points per game and led the Rams in three-point percentage with 40%. Tucker also shot 74% from the free-throw line. Simmons was second on the Rams in scoring, averaging 9.1 points per game. Kennedi shot 72% from the free-throw line.
