SALISBURY, N.C- The Winston-Salem State University volleyball team defeated the Blue Bears of Livingstone College, inside Trent Gymnasium 3-1 (25-23, 25-18, 25-18, 25-14).
 
The Rams moved to (13-17, 9-7 CIAA).
 
How it Happened 
Set one the Rams took an early 5-3 lead holding the lead throughout the set despite a Blue Bear mini run taking the set 25-23.
In set two the Blue Bears took the momentum away from the Rams jumping out to a 16-8 lead, and that was enough to win the set 25-18.
Set three the Rams quickly jumped out to a 4-0 lead, followed by a 6-0 run helping the Rams take set three 25-18. In set four the Rams stayed hot jumping out to 3-0 lead and that was enough to win the set 25-14.
