BOWIE, M.d. – The Winston-Salem State University men's basketball cruise past Bowie State 76-55 inside A.C. Jordan Arena.
The Rams improved to (8-3, 2-0 CIAA).
Jaylen Alston led the Rams with 21 points and five rebounds, and
Imajae Dodd recorded a double-double of 20 points with 13 rebounds.
Isaac Parson scored 14 points and dished out six assists, and
Jaylin Parker had 12 points going 4-of-6 from the three-point line.

The Rams went 30-of-53 from the field, 8-for-13 from the free-throw line, 8-of-13 from three. They scored 42 points in the paint, 10 points off of turnovers. The Rams grabbed 38 rebounds and forced 14 turnovers.
In the first half, the Rams jumped out to an early 6-0 lead with a
Jaylen Alston lay-up with 17:35 left. The Rams went on another 6-0 run extending their lead to 10 points 20-10 highlighted by an
Imajae Dodd dunk with 11:00 left.
Isaac Parson extended the Rams lead to 14 points on a made jumper, 28-14 with 6:17 left. The Rams took a commanding lead into halftime 44-27.
In the second half, the Bulldogs cut the Rams lead down to six 50-44 with 12:34 left. The Rams would outscore the Bulldogs 26-11 to end the game.
