WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Dante Bowlding from the Winston-Salem State University football team was named the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Defensive Back of the Week for week four.

The Fayetteville, North Carolina native earned the honor after helping the Rams defeat Bluefield State 30-0 last Saturday. Bowlding finished the game with four tackles (2 solo), one force fumble. He also had a pick-six for a 56-yard return for a touchdown.

Bowlding and the Rams will be back in action on Saturday, September 30 taking on Lincoln (PA) in Pennsylvania.
