ORANGEBURG S.C.– The Winston-Salem State University men's basketball team fell to Claflin University 87-68 inside Tullis Arena.
The Rams moved to (12-5, 6-2 CIAA).
Isaac Parson led the Rams with 15 points and five rebounds.
Jahnarious Snell scored 13 points, and Ketron "KC" Shaw scored 11 points. Both
Jaylen Alston and
Imajae Dodd chipped in with 10 points.

The Rams went 25-of-55 from the field, 14-of-23 from the free-throw line, and 4-of-16 from three. They scored 38 points in the paint, 10 fast break points, and grabbed 29 rebounds and 19 bench points.
How it Happened
In the first half, with the score 28-24, the Panthers'
Jahnarious Snell hit a three-pointer making the score 28-27 with 4:41 left. The Panthers finished the half on a 17-5 run, giving them a 45-33 lead at halftime.
In the second half,
Imajae Dodd cut the Panthers lead down to 15 points with a dunk 59-44 with 9:50 left. Every time the Rams scored, cutting into the lead the Panthers answered back, as the Rams couldn't cut the Panthers lead to single digits.
