WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.– The Winston-Salem State University men's basketball team defeated Elizabeth City State University 76-51 in their first home conference game inside the C.E. Gaines Center.
The Rams improved to (10-3, 4-0 CIAA).
Isaac Parson led the Rams with a double-double, 21 points, and 11 rebounds, and
Imajae Dodd also recorded a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Ketron "KC" Shaw scored 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds.

The Rams went 27-of-62 from the field, and 15-of-22 from the free-throw line. They scored 40 points in the paint, 16 points off turnovers. The Rams grabbed 45 rebounds—and 21 fast-break points.
In the first half, the Rams began the game on a 6-0 run capped off by two free throws by
Jaylen Alston with 17:34 left. The Vikings went on a 6-0 run tying the game 14-14 with 8:30 left. The Rams closed out the half on a 19-4 run capped off by an
Isaac Parson three-pointer at the buzzer, giving the Rams a 33-18 lead at halftime.
In the second half, the Rams' offensive exploded for 43 points, highlighted by a
Devon Bristow dunk giving the Rams their largest lead of the game 56-26 with 12:36 left.
