SALEM, Va. – The Winston-Salem State University women's team captured second place at the CIAA Championships.
The Rams finished with 84 points right behind Fayetteville State. Virginia Union came in third and Lincoln came in fourth.
Leading the way for the Rams was
Ava Millner who finished in seventh place with a time of 19:42.1.
Elicia Bryant finished in 12th with a time of 20:37.6 and
Jaiyah Nelson came in 15th with a time of 21:06.1.
Kayla Nobles finished in 23rd with a time of
22:26.6 and
Simone Kelly came in 27th with a time of 22:52.3.
Rainn Sheppard finished in 33rd with a time of 23:25.8 and
Leigh Wills finished in 37th with a time of 23:40.3.
