Wheeling, W.V.– The Winston-Salem State University men's basketball team fall to Wheeling University 85-66, inside the Alma Grace McDonough Center.
The Rams moved to (1-3, 0-0 CIAA).
Tyre Boykin led the Rams with 24 points, followed by
Abou Camara with nine points and 11 rebounds.

Tyre Boykin made the score 32-24 on a three-pointer (3:44). Wheeling extended their lead to 36-26 with a lay-up (2:10). Wheeling took a 39-28 lead into halftime.
In the second half,
Tyre Boykin cut the lead to 42-34, on a three-pointer (18:03). The Cardinals extended their lead to 49-37 on a lay-up (15:23). WSSU went on a 10-3 run, cutting the lead to 52-47 on a
Tyre Boykin three-pointer (12:00). Wheeling went on a 8-2 run, extending their lead to 63-52 on a three-pointer (7:30). Two
Ethan English free-throws cut the lead to 65-56 (5:54). A Wheeling three-pointer made the score 75-60 (3:43). Wheeling lead grew out to 80-62.
