WESTON, Fla. – The Winston-Salem State University men's golf team finished in fifth place in the two-day ARCIS HBCU Championship.
In the standings, WSSU placed fifth out of six schools in the Division II category. The total to Par was +81, after scoring 326 in R1, 311 in R2, and 164 in R3
for a total of 801.
Livingstone College came in first in DII category with a total score of 765.
Individually, for the Rams Nsubuga Godfrey had the highest score for the Rams coming in fourth place (+8 R1 73 R2 75 R3 40 – 188).
How it Happened
Ahmad Raoul tied for 16th place (+ 20 R1 85 R2 75 R3 40 – 200).
Zach Groce (+28 R1 82 R2 80 R3 46 – 208) and Kaden Rodgers tied for 23rd place (+28 R1 86 R2 81 R3 41 – 208).
Cameron Witherspoon came in 25th place (+34 R1 87 R2 84 R3 43 – 214).
The Rams will be back in action hosting the CIAA Southern Division, co-hosted by Johnson C. Smith on March 3-4 in Archdale, North Carolina at the Holly Ridge.
