WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.- The Winston-Salem State University women's basketball team will return home on Wednesday, February 5th, taking on Bluefield State University. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. inside the C.E. Gaines Center.
The Lady Rams will then travel to Orangeburg, South Carolina on Saturday, February 8th, taking on Claflin University. Tip-off is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. inside the Tullis Arena.

Series Information vs. Bluefield State University
This will be the fourth meeting between the Rams and Big Blue. The Rams took the first 2-of-3 matches in the series. Last time, BSU defeated the Rams 61-53, on January 13th, 2024.

CIAA Preseason/Polls
Jakaiya Mack was named to the 2024-2025 All-CIAA Women's Basketball Preseason Team Frontcourt. Mack finished last season playing in 15 games and started in 12. She averaged 23 minutes with 8 points per game, was 45% FG, and 57% FT. The women were selected to finish tenth.
Last Time Out
The Rams fell to Livingstone College in double-overtime 91-84 on Saturday, February 8th.
Christiana McLean led the Rams with 19 points, followed by
La'Niya Simes with a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Karina Scott also had 12 points. Defensively Maya Madison-Walker chipped in with 14 rebounds.
