ARCHDALE, N.C. – The Winston-Salem State University golf team finished in eighth place at the CIAA Southern Division Tournament at the Holly Ridge Golf Links in Archdale, North Carolina.
Fayetteville State finished in first place, then Livingstone College and Chowan came in third place.
After the two-day event, the Rams finished with a total +55 (R1 +16 R2 +17 R3 +22).
The top leaders for the Rams tying for sixth place was
Godfrey Nsubuga total +3 (R1 E R2 +3 R3 + E) and
Austin Rickard tying for eighth total +4 (R1 +2 R2 +1 R3 +1).
How it Happened
Kaden Rogers finished in 49th, Zach Groce finished in 51,
Ahmad Raoul finished in 64th,
Cameron Witherspoon 68th and
Justin Cousins 69th.
The Rams will be back in action on March 14-15 at the Vegas Warrior Invite in Las Vegas, Nevada.
