WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – On April 2, student-athletes from Winston-Salem State University partnered with Brunson Elementary School to participate in its 2025 Math Madness event.

It was a fantastic opportunity to engage with the community and inspire young minds.

Brunson Elementary, a Title I STEM school in downtown Winston-Salem, is dedicated to fostering a love of learning and community engagement among students. Math Madness, designed to inspire interest in mathematics through friendly competition, was a huge success. We were thrilled to see one of the kindergarten classrooms choose Winston-Salem State University to represent them!
