ATLANTA –
Godfrey Nsubuga from the Winston-Salem State University men's golf team competed at the Dogwood Invitational on June 2-7 at the Druid Hills Golf Club.
After the four-day tournament, Godfrey finished with a total score of 226 (+10).
The top qualifiers received exemptions into some of the PGA tours as well as advanced to the final stages of Q school (PGA Tour Qualifying) and the top 5 received exemption to the PGA Tour Australia Q School Final stage.
The top five competitors were Luke Coyle (University of Kentucky), Carter Loflin (University of Georgia), Rocco Salvitti (University of Notre Dame), Harris Barth (Furman) and Kaleb Wilson (West Virginia).
Godfrey and the Rams will be back in action this fall semester.
