The Winston-Salem State men's cross country team earned a seventh-place team finish at the Pfeiffer University Cross Country Invitational, totaling 185 points behind a balanced effort from their lineup.

Senior Zachary Patrick paced the Rams, finishing 26th overall in 29:44.6. Freshman K'Lijah Jackson-Melton stepped up in his collegiate debut, placing 32nd with a time of 32:00.7.

Junior Henry Weah (41st, 34:14.4) and sophomore E'Maije Ambrose (42nd, 35:03.3) provided key scoring depth, while freshman Jyyheir Morrison rounded out the top five in 44th place with a time of 36:24.8.

The Rams will be back in action at the Blue Bear Invitational hosted by Livingstone College in Salisbury, North Carolina on September 19th.
