WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -  Ava Millner from the Winston-Salem State University women's cross country team was named the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Women's Runner of the Week, the league announced Tuesday afternoon.

Ava Millner (Atco, NJ) was named Women's Runner of the Week after leading the way with a standout performance, placing sixth overall in 20:08.0 at the Pfeiffer XC Invitational.

The Rams will be back in action on Friday, September 19 at the Blue Bear Invitational hosted by Livingstone College.
