WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Two student-athletes from the Winston-Salem State University volleyball team have earned Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) weekly honors, the leagued announced Tuesday morning.

Holiday Ellis (Inglewood, CA) was named Offensive Player of the Week after she totaled 66 kills, 195 total attacks, three assists, eight aces and 58 digs. Ellis' best game came on September 12th against Young Harris 22 kills, one ace and 15 digs.

Celina Johnson (Laurel, Md) was named Rookie of the Week after she totaled 28 kills, 144 assists, five aces and 54 digs. Johnson's best game came on September 13th against St. Anselm with one kill, 39 assists, and 18 digs.

The Rams will be back in action this weekend competing at the Concord Classic.
