Richmond, V.A– The Winston-Salem State University men's basketball team fall to Virginia Union University 79-48 inside the Barco Stevens Hall.
The Rams moved to (7-12, 2-7 CIAA, 0-4 South).
Khyelle Ingram led the Rams with a season-high 12 points and nine rebounds, followed by Lance Gill with 11 points.

In the first half, the Rams took a 4-0 lead on a Lance Gill lay-up (18:49). The Panthers went on a 10-2 run, taking a 10-6 lead on a jumper (14:37). VUU extended their lead on a 11-2 run, taking a 21-9 lead on a free-throw (10:31). The Rams cut the lead to 23-13 on a Khyelle Ingram lay-up (9;41). VUU went on a 14-4 run, growing their lead to 34-17 on a jumper (5:10). The Panthers took a 40-24 lead into halftime.
In the second half, the Panthers went on a 15-3 run, taking a 55-27 lead on a and-one (15:07). VUU lead grew to 60-29 on a jumper (13:50). The Rams went on a 11-3 run, cutting the lead down to 63-40 on a Lance Gill jumper (8:30). VUU closed out the game on a 16-8 run.
