WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Winston-Salem State University men's golf program has been selected to receive the PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship Scholarship, which provides valuable support to student-athletes as they pursue their academic and athletic goals.

The scholarship will support members of the Rams' men's golf program through athletic scholarships, helping student-athletes with the cost of attendance. At the same time, they work toward earning their college degrees and competing at the collegiate level.

WSSU Head Men's Golf Coach Charles Penny, II expressed his appreciation for the recognition and the opportunities the scholarship will provide for his student-athletes.

"This scholarship is impactful because it directly supports our student-athletes and their educational journey. The investment from PGA WORKS helps create opportunities for deserving young men to pursue a college degree while competing at a high level.
