WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (13-12) took a hard-fought loss to the Bloomsburg Huskies (11-4), Wednesday afternoon. The loss was the first home shutout loss of the season for the Lady Rams.

The Lady Rams managed just three hits in the hard-fought loss at Randy Jones Field at Twin City Park. A pair of WSSU players combined to WSSU freshman infielder Brittany Rich led the WSSU attack with a pair of singles in three at-bats while WSSU junior Brittany Lane added a one-for-three effort in the game.
