Box Score

WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams (7-8, 3-3 CIAA) were too much for the Saint Augustine's Falcons (3-14, 0-7 CIAA) as they took a 74-41 win, Saturday afternoon. As impressive as the first half was, it was in the second half that the team really took control when they outscored the Falcons, 44-25. The Rams held the Falcons without a field goal for nearly four minutes of the quarter and pushed their lead to as many as 20 points with a 53-33 lead at the end of the quarter. With the game well in hand, the Rams went into overdrive as they scored 21 fourth quarter points to pull away with the win. For the quarter, the Rams allowed just two field goals, including not allowing a Saint Augustine's field goal for the final six minutes of the game and sealed the 74-41 victory.
