WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Winston-Salem State University women's outdoor track and field team is set to compete at the Morehouse Relays in Atlanta, Georgia on Thursday, March 23rd-25th.

The Rams competed at the Allen Connie Shamrock Invitational on March 16th-18th with highlights from Ronee Tudor having the conference top three times in the 100 and 200. Also, Asia Lampe finished with PRs in the discus and shot put as well as the top conference marks. Kennedy Alexander who finished seventh in the high jump. Angel Bowden finished eighth in the high jump.
Athletes of the Weeks
Last week at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational, Asia Lampe set new personal records in both the shot put and discus throw. The junior from Harrisburg, NC had a mark of 41.48 meters in the discus, placing second at the meet. In the shotput, Lampe was sixth with a distance of 12.28 meters. Both of those marks place her first in the CIAA in this early outdoor track & field season. In the discus, she is first in the Division II Atlantic Region.
