Outdoor Track & Field Set to Compete at The Trojan Relays
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Winston-Salem State University women's outdoor track and field team continues their season by traveling to Mount Olive, North Carolina to compete in the  Trojan Relays on April 15th.

The Rams competed at the Vertklasse Meeting on March 31-April 1st with highlights from
Amique Willis finished third in the women's 100m hurdles with a time of 14.81.
Kennedy Alexander finished fourth in the women's high jump and finished with a mark of 1.63 (5'4.25").
Athletes of the Weeks
Amique Willis won Track Athlete of the Week for week three, The Kingston, Jamacia native earned the honor after finishing third in the women's 100m hurdles with a time of 14.81 at the Vertklasse Meeting in High Point, N.C.
 At the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational,
Asia Lampe set new personal records in both the shot put and discus throw. The junior from Harrisburg, NC had a mark of 41.48 meters in the discus, placing second at the meet. In the shotput, Lampe was sixth with a distance of 12.28 meters. Both of those marks place her first in the CIAA in this early outdoor track & field season. In the discus, she is first in the Division II Atlantic Region.
