CHARLOTTE, N.C. –Kennedy Alexander from the Winston-Salem State University women's outdoor track and field team was named the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Field Athlete of the Week for week five, the league announced Wednesday afternoon.

Charlotte, North Carolina native earned the honor after finishing second in the women's high jump and finished with a mark of 1.66m (5'5.25") at the Trojan Relays in Mount Olive, NC

Alexander and the Rams will be back in action on April 21st-22nd competing at the Aggie Classics in Greensboro, North Carolina.
