WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Winston-Salem State University women's outdoor track and field team continues their season by traveling to Greensboro, North Carolina to compete in the Aggie Classic on April 21st-22nd.

The Rams competed at the Trojan Relays on April 15th with highlights from Tamia Mclean who set a personal record in the women's 800m with a time of 2:20.34.
Kennedy Alexander finished second in the women's high jump and finished with a mark of 1.66 (5'5.25").

Amique Willis won Track Athlete of the Week for week three
, The Kingston, Jamacia native earned the honor after finishing third in the women's 100m hurdles with a time of 14.81 at the Vertklasse Meeting in High Point, N.C.
At the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational,
Asia Lampe set new personal records in both the shot put and discus throw. The junior from Harrisburg, NC had a mark of 41.48 meters in the discus, placing second at the meet. In the shotput, Lampe was sixth with a distance of 12.28 meters. Both of those marks place her first in the CIAA in this early outdoor track & field season. In the discus, she is first in the Division II Atlantic Region.
