WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The 1999 Winston-Salem State University football team turns 25 this year and to celebrate the Rams are raising $25,000 to go toward supporting student-athletes' success.

On November 9th (homecoming), the 1999 WSSU football team's historic undefeated season in the CIAA will be honored and celebrated. As part of the celebration, the team is asking everyone to support and make generous contributions that will impact the current WSSU football team's success, provide invaluable resources, and empower the next generation.

Also, if you were a part of the 1999 football team, and donated $125 you will receive a commemorative hoodie. Offense players will receive red, and defense players will receive black. The deadline to order is October 11, 2024.

The 1999 WSSU Football team finished the season 7-0 in the CIAA and the defense finished the year tied for number one in scoring in the country.
