Fayetteville, N.C. – The Winston-Salem State University volleyball team sweeps Elizabeth City State 3-0 on day one of CIAA Round-Up Friday afternoon, inside Felton J. Capel Arena.
The Rams moved to 5–7 (2-1 CIAA) on the season.

In set one, the Rams took a 4-1 lead on a Vikings error. ECSU cut the lead to 8-6 with a kill. WSSU went on a 6-2 run, taking 15-9 lead on a Kamiyah Wilson ace. The Rams went on a 7-1 run, extending their lead to 23-11 a Holiday Ellis ace. The Vikings went on a 4-1 run, cutting the score to 24-16. WSSU took set one 25-16
In set two, the Rams took a 7-1 lead on an attack error. The Rams extended their lead to 12-1 on a Zaria Keys ace. The Rams went on 7-1 run, pushing the lead 21-6 on a Vikings attack error. The Rams took set two 25-11.
In set three, the Rams took a 3-0 lead on a Holiday Ellis kill. A Kalyn Cuthbertson kill extended the Rams lead to 8-2. A Aria Caldwell kill gave the Rams a 14-5 lead. The Vikings cut the lead down to 18-14 on a bad set by WSSU. ECSU cut the Rams lead to 21-18 on an attack error.
